The challenge was to create a bike with technical characteristics and image to fight Japanese competition. Ducati hired Massimo Tamburini, co-founder of Bimota. Tamburini streamlined the bike and its motor in a close-fitting integral fairing that hid all mechanical parts – one of the first motorcycles to do this. He also reversed the rear cylinder head in order to meet emissions and noise restrictions abroad. The Paso 750 was equipped with latest-generation technical features: square frame tubes made in chromoly steel, rear aluminium swingarm with progressive suspension, 16-inch wheels with radial tires, water-cooled engine, electronic ignition and a comprehensive dashboard. In absolutely stunning condition this unique and rare model is in superb condition with original paintwork and has been fitted with an upgraded rear brake system by the fitment of a Brembo Gold series 4 piston caliper. Also has fitted a screen extension and supplied with a pair of Lafranconi black chrome sports silencers as well as the standard. Original owners manual/toolkit still present. Fully serviced with new belts, fluids and filters. Please note the speedo will be showing in km. It is not a restricted bike and will be full power. The bike will be serviced and come with 12 month’s MOT. This bike has been imported from the Continent and will be UK registered on an age related number plate upon sale. The registration transfer paperwork can take 2 – 3 weeks depending on timescales from DVLA. [classic]. , Red
